How to Get A Visitor Pass?

Despite being unrelated, the Airport Visitor programs use the same structure.

  • Apply Online with TSA-approved government ID: You can apply in advance or on the same day. You’ll get a confirmation email if your request is received.
  • Get TSA Approval: You’ll get the approval email on the day of the visit after midnight if applied in advance. If applied on the same day, you’ll get the confirmation email within 15 minutes of the application being received.

Remember,

  • Airport Visitor Passes are free of cost
  • There is a daily cap on the number of passes issued
  • Visitors are supposed to follow the same security restrictions as passengers boarding an airplane, including not bringing any prohibited items and abiding by the 3-1-1 Liquids Rules
